Loreus Ltd is an environmental consultancy originally established as a spin-off from Nottingham Trent University. With over 30 years of experience, we provide straightforward, practical support to help organisations achieve ISO 14001 certification, fulfil carbon reporting requirements and deliver environmental performance improvements. To date, we have supported hundreds of public and private sector organisations, from SMEs through to multinational companies.

Our history

Established in 2003 as a spin-out from Nottingham Trent University, we have over two decades of experience delivering environmental consultancy services. Originally based at the University’s Clifton campus, the business moved into its own premises in 2014 at the former police station on Green Lane in Clifton. With the University just across the road, we have maintained strong links with NTU while operating from our Clifton office for the past 14 years.

EcoCampus

“Loreus has played a key role in the establishment of EcoCampus and has overseen its continuous development since 2000. EcoCampus provides a package of services and a collaborative network that has become widely embedded across the Higher Education sector. The scheme has supported approximately 50% of the sector in developing and implementing environmental management systems, with institutions achieving Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum awards. A number of universities have used EcoCampus as a pathway to enhance their environmental performance and now hold both Platinum status and ISO 14001 certification.
